What do I do now?<\/span><\/h3><p>Ask for permission from your principal, then call (800) 208-8900 or visit <a href=\"https:\/\/orders.mycardsinc.com\/sign-up\">our sign-up form<\/a> and tell us when you\u2019d like to teach the MyCards\u2122 lesson. We\u2019ll schedule press time accordingly and ship you a customized press kit.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">How much will it cost me to participate?<\/span><\/h3><p>Nothing! There is absolutely no cost to your school.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">How long will it take to teach the lesson?<\/span><\/h3><p>Two to three 40 minute class periods. Here is a suggested timeline:<\/p><p><strong>Day 1:<\/strong> Teach the lesson. Students choose an idea and sketch their designs.<\/p><p><strong>Day 2:<\/strong> Work on designs and finish designs.<\/p><p><strong>Day 3:<\/strong> Finish designs. Send home completed designs in the order envelopes provided. Watch your orders add up on your Teacher Dashboard!<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Do parents get to see their child\u2019s design before ordering?<\/span><\/h3><p>Yes. You will send home the completed card design inside the MyCards\u2122 order envelope.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">What can I do for the students who do not order cards?<\/span><\/h3><p>You may like to trim the design from the template and mount it on construction paper to be displayed on the wall, given as a gift, or used as a large original card.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">Do I have to tally orders and count money?<\/span><\/h3><p>No. Parents order online. You simply send each child home with their artwork and order envelope.<\/p><h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span style=\"color: #800000;\">How do you calculate the profit to my art program?<\/span><\/h3><p>Your school earns a set amount per order.
